What we want:
Discovery Language School is seeking to hire an English language instructor for our school based in Ichikawa, Chiba.
We're looking for Full time and part time teachers who can start in March or early April. Candidates who are available from February may begin with a training period.
The part-time position is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The position involves teaching group student-centered lessons to all ages and abilities at a private language school.
It also involves teaching group lessons in Kindergartens.

We offer:

• A competitive monthly salary of 270,000 - 300,000 yen depending on experience and qualifications (for Full time teachers) - Part-time positions start at 2,800 yen per lesson, with higher rates available based on experience and qualifications.

• Transportation reimbursement.Full-Time Benefits & Work Conditions:

• Tuesday~Saturday employment with two consecutive days off

• 40 hours/week  - A maximum of 24 hours of teaching/ week (hours to be discussed during the interview)

• 16+ days paid holidays per year

Our Social Impact

Discovery Language School has also a registered  NPO supporting children in refugee camps (Discovery Foundation). Together with our teachers and partner schools, we help lead humanitarian projects. In 2025–2026, we shipped a container and distributed 3,000 pairs of shoes, thousands of clothes and toys, and organised food distributions in war-affected areas.

Location :  Ichikawa is located in Chiba. It is 20 minutes train ride from Tokyo.  Transportation fees will be fully paid.

We work with 6 kindergartens in Chiba prefecture. Most teachers spend at least 1 day a week in a kindergarten.
